Who This Is For

The Skilled Worker visa is for non-UK nationals with a confirmed job offer from a UK-based employer that holds a sponsor licence. This visa allows individuals to live and work in the UK in eligible roles that meet salary and skill thresholds.

Key Requirements (Updated April 2024)

To qualify for a Skilled Worker visa, you generally need to:

✅ Have a job offer from a UK-licensed sponsor
✅ Be applying for an eligible occupation code
✅ Hold a valid Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS)
✅ Demonstrate English language ability at B1 level
✅ Meet the salary threshold, based on the role:

Job Type Minimum Salary Requirement General roles £38,700 per year or going rate (whichever is higher)Health/Education roles £23,200 per year or national pay scale Jobs on Immigration Salary List £30,960 per year or going rate Transitional (CoS issued pre-April 2024) May qualify for legacy lower thresholds
